Before Purchasing, please make sure that your compressor is the Denso, Factory installed genuine compressor (OEM).
If Your compressor has been replaced with an after-market unit we can NOT guarantee fitment.

On earlier Corvette models, Denso design the Coil Locating-Pin on the compressor not on the coil.
Denso was using this type of compressor until stock was exhausted. You can find this pin occasionally on older vehicles. To install the new coil, you need to remove this pin by grinding it.
The clutch is an external unit and has nothing to do with the refrigerant.
With some mechanical skills you can do it yourself even if the access to the compressor might be tight.
